I think you're being a bit paranoid here. There's no reason to believe he would want to catch up on “lost time”. Why would he do that if he has the greatest time with you? And what exactly is lost time even in definition.

You’ve done a terrible thing. I really hope he leaves. You pressured him into it then tell people about it. Soo not only did he get used by you but he has lost the respect of his shallow friends. I don’t feel bad for you. Leave him alone, let him find a partner who respects him.
I take two things from this:
You love your wife deeply, and want the best for her
Your wife needs some therapy to address self-esteem issues/likely depression/something else that we can’t speculate about.
The fact a guy 11 years older can’t sustain himself and needs to loan money from his GF for basic stuff is a massive red flag, you are at different points in life and he had years to get his shit together. Dont date losers.
Am I being selfish for not wanting him to borrow my phone? It’s because one time at work, when I didn’t have my phone on me and I needed some help, I couldn’t call or text anyone and I had to figure out things on my own. It was super stressful, I thought I couldn’t survive that day. :((
