Honestly based on what you said in regards to your past experience with voicing your feelings, this reaction to his lack of response makes sense to me. I grew up in a very angry household and I get intense anxiety sharing my emotions and feelings. I don’t think it’s weird to want some kind of response from your partner when you communicate something to them. I think it’s especially odd that they don’t respond when you tell them something over text. Based on them fixing their behavior so readily when you bring things up, I’m willing to bet they would be receptive to you talking about this to them and sharing why it makes you anxious.
