I’d let her know that even if she were your wife, this asset would be premarital (unless she was bringing an asset of equal value to offset) and that would be true for anyone that you marry, not just her.

You may be right, but another close friend of mine (let’s call her K) mentioned that this friend (let’s call her A) brought up the drama to her while they were both at my house. I was making A a coffee so I wasn’t privy to this conversation. K doesn’t know either of the guys involved and only knows A through me and has only met her once before that. There was no reason for her to bring it up to K, which is what makes me think this is what the issue is.
The petty part of me doesn’t want to reach out to her because I’ve tried a couple of times and she kind of blew me off both times.
