Mid twenties basically up until 28+ is the age where this fuckery is at its peak. Friendships feel life and death when in reality he might not even be friends with this person anymore in a few years OR once she gets a boyfriend. When you are older none of your friends are coming over to comfort you for hours because you have work in the mornings and you aren’t accidentally passing out drunk places etc. and at this stage your romantic relationships are also a mess.
If your boyfriend isn’t standing up for you and telling you what she is saying and then telling you how he told her you aren’t controlling and she needs to respect you and your relationship then he is probably saying things to her to prompt her saying this. Or she is trying to wreck your relationship and your boyfriend is refusing to deprioritize her in the wake of that behavior from a close friend. Sorry for what’s happening in this situation, it certainly stinks.

I had a very traumatic birth and I and my baby almost died. I’m the one who would like another kid (through adoption ok too because my pregnancy suuuucked). My husband on the other hand is now One and Done. He is a HARD NO on me ever getting pregnant again, because he was so scared that he would lose us both.
This guy seems like he has zero empathy for his wife! It’s all Me Me Me! I wish this was a different sub cause YTA OP! The wife sounds like she needs some therapy, possibly for post partum depression. But it also sounds like OP needs to step up waaaay more at home, quit complaining, and start supporting his wife.
You WERE very close. Letting your sister be rather severely punished because you’re too much of a coward to say that the condoms are yours is the kind of thing that damages relationships irreparably. At least she knows now that you can’t be trusted. I think it’s always better to know that about someone before you put yourself in a position to need them for anything that matters.
