Sometimes bad cell service in the area or a weird wifi connection can cause your location services to not accurately pinpoint where you are. Like if you're losing service while using Google maps and your car freezes and then super speeds to your new location once it gets service again.
However, I would say if she normally has a good connection at work and you've had no problems before seeing her location at work its a bit suspicious.
