Yea I def don’t think pretending everything is fine in the interim is the way to go at all. I also understand him needing time to reflect and cool down, but when you start talking an entire day or two, that doesn’t seem healthy either. There needs to be a middle ground. Can you give him a couple hrs? And in the meantime maybe write your thoughts down in a notebook or journal or something to help you sort through your feelings as well?
