Sexual selfishness by 1 individual man doesn't equal all hetero men are selfish in bed. Some men dislike giving oral, just like some women do. Equally, some men absolutely love giving oral & would happily camp out down there, while others think of it as just one part of sex not better or worse than other things.
I don't agree that it's “widely accepted” that men whi are attracted to women don't like to/won't give oral. That seems to be a pretty childish view – as in, if you said “guys 18 to really early 20s don't do it as much” than maybe, just because they're going to be in the demographic that's 1) least experienced; and 2) probably more likely to be easily swayed by the “alpha male” rubbish like “real men only receive, they don't give”. And even then obviously that's not most, let alone all, men.
In my experience, a lot of men actually find it a turn on because they're like “wow, I'm so proud of my skills in being able to reduce a woman to a puddle of orgasmic goo”. And good for them.
