I find it a little bit confusing because you’re telling me that I should have communicate with him that I wanted to go out on that night but at the same time you’re telling me to not be controlling and let him go out with his colleagues (which by the way, I’m not doing, there’s a difference between asking a question and being controlling. A controlling person would not be asking any question). So it’s like, I should have tell him that I wanted to go out so that he would have known I wanted to be with him that night when he wanted to go out but at the same time I should let him go out when he wants to. Sounds impossible?

Stop copy pasting this response to try and deflect it. You are LETTING abuse happen and are opening the door for you kid to be abused. You're a teen. The world is huge! There is so much better out there than someone who abuses his pets. Today it's the dog, tomorrow it's you or your kid. Take your child, take the dog, and gtfo as fast as possible. If you tell your friends that he is overstepping boundaries after you set them, and they don’t understand, you’re gonna need new friends anyway. Before you drop all your friends, try one more time to be completely honest with the guy. “Hey, I don’t feel comfortable with gifts, since I don’t like you in the same way you like me. I’d like you to stop. You can keep hanging out with the friend group, but this has to stop. I will not accept any further gifts, and any attempts to flirt with me, I will regard as harassment. Last chance”
If he doesn’t get it after that, ask your friends to talk to him as well. If he doesn’t listen to anybody, maybe suggest dropping him from your friend group. Keep the harassment angle, since that’s what this is. Every time he makes you uncomfortable in your friend group, tell him clearly and loudly that he’s making you uncomfortable and that you want him to stop (try not to smile or laugh when you say this, he may interpret it as joking around) make it as awkward as possible for him to overstep your boundaries
