1. I just broke up with my ex this past fall for a lot of the same reasons and contemplated this as well but. It's draining af. You cant build a life with someone like this. It's supposed to be a partnership but feels like its one person is keeping everything afloat.

   You simply can't want it more for him than he wants it for himself. It took me a while to realize that too. It would be one thing if he was taking all the right steps but needed more time for it to come together, but he's just doing nothing or making excuses. Personally in my own situation I suggested everything from going back to school to seeking out therapy for the anxiety and lack of motivation and was only met with “That's a good idea” or “Okay I'll think about it” with hardly ever any follow through or change. Its hot but you have to ultimately do whats right for you.
