Here’s my recommendation to you: join some clubs, volunteer, spend a lot of time doing things you truly enjoy doing with other people. Things that are not drinking at a bar. This will get you out in environments that are filled with people with similar interests. You will begin to organically develop friendships with people who you have things in common with. See where it goes from there.
I will also say that having your mind laser focused on just obtaining a romantic relationship can be detrimental. The goal should not be relationship romantic regardless of anything else. The goal should be building a solid foundation with someone that you are compatible with.

Shocked by some of these comments and just want to encourage everyone to switch the genders and then ask how you would feel.
