Well as i said, the problem is that you have different beliefs on this, you can ask him to question right or wrong but he was thaught a certain way and to him his way is right. I mean who knows what other things u dont agree on.
Maybe at 22 it doesn't matter to him since he might think he is too old now and he is dating you too. I dont see this as a deal breaker tbh its just belief, if he actually liked 14yo on Instagram etc and pursued them, then id report him even but like this its just what his country is like.
I mean the same way you want him to accept your views, he could want you to accept his views, again, its just the way ur both raised. And id like to clarify that personally i see it as wrong and weird but at the same time i dont on-line in his country where norms are different. I dont agree with what he is saying that its oke to date a 14 yo when an 18 yo is soo much more mature. But i do understand and respect the fact that its just different upbringing and that to him its not wrong due to everyone doing it snd being raised that way.

If after knowing all the backstory about your mom and your wife still chooses to make such negative associations and decisions towards your mom, I find her mindset in fact to be the unhealthy one. I agree with others that she is the one who needs therapy (in particular with dealing with the death of her own father.)
