My ex husband does this, not only to the kids but also to me!! He always thinks he’s right, and sometimes he’ll try to make you fall into his trap by saying ‘you can tell me if you think I’m wrong’. No. No you can’t. Unless you would like him to go on about why he’s right for even longer you absolutely CANNOT tell him you think he’s wrong. It’s actually part of the reason I left him. He even used to do it to the kids when they were very young and I’d be like……..he/she is 2!! They can’t pay attention that long, please stop!! Never to any avail, of course.
