Have you thought about having children with this man? What is their religious upbringing going to be like? Are you going to be comfortable with them being raised as devout Christians?
What are his opinions about the duty of a wife as it relates to you. Very devout Christians believe that wives should be subordinate to their husbands, are you comfortable with that? And before you say he'd never do that, are you sure? You're not married yet, but that ring comes with a LOT of assumptions about gender roles and appropriate behavior. Have you talked about that?
You need to stop and think about this, and you need to be rational. Can you be a heretic and an apostate married to a Christian? I mean, that's what you are, to them. They have a religious duty to try to bring you into the faith, that will never, ever stop. Are you okay with that?

I agree, I think it mostly has to do with my fear of being alone and needing outside support with our child. I suffer from pretty bad PPD so it can get overwhelming quickly and he’s very helpful with the baby. I do have friends that would be willing to help out but it wouldn’t be consistent- so I’m pretty sure my fear is holding me back and perpetuating this cycle.
I have a therapy appointment set up for a couple weeks from now so I can restart working on it.
