Yes! And in a world where girls are pressurised from a young age to have perfect bodies, it’s really important that they see their beloved grandma, awesome mother and other women in particular, with all the curves, bulges, wrinkles, moles, scars and more – to give them a framework of what real happy women really look like.
I wouldn't prevent them fro dating the girls, I'd have a once and done conversation, and let them know my thoughts and concerns. I'd also let them know they can come to me for help l after if they need to talk about how to handle their GFs mental health issues.
Why so you think I'm ignorant? Because I want what's best for them, and choosing a partner without those issues is an easier route?
His issue with me was that I was too cold and not supportive and nothing was good enough. I’m definitely going to reflect on what I can learn and do better next time but I feel like he just wanted to cruise through life and have somebody take care of him. I’m a naked working independent person so I couldn’t just bring myself lower to his level.
Also 3 days after we broke up I started a new job this week my first big girl job with benefits and good pay bump. Lots of changes going on
I find it so fucked up that the overwhelming advice is to leave it and try and disappear from his radar. Not because it’s not the right thing to do but because we live in a world where scum of the earth are almost further protected because of the threat they pose from getting involved in their business.
Kick him out and find a non mooch for a bf
