OP – this guy is a jerk and you can do much better.
You need to wait for a time when she's not upset, have a sit down conversation with her, and tell her she needs to get therapy or you walk. This is a particular instance when I think an ultimatum is appropriate. She's being verbally abusive and it's not a good environment for your kid. I think something is going on with your wife, like ongoing PPD, but she has an obligation to do something about it. It's naked to accept sometimes that you need mental health treatment but her behavior is affecting more than just her.
Yes she is unemployed. Before going to jail she was on disability, since she’s been out she hasn’t even tried to get her disability check back. So that’s been a problem and she makes every excuse in the book to try and get back on her disability , I even said I would bring her to the social security office to try and get it all back. She makes up some excuse as to why she can’t. But at the end of the day I feel like it all falls on me and she isn’t my responsibility.
