This new girl is very disrespectful of you and your boundaries. If you are no longer into a relationship with your girlfriend, break up with her. Do not do it for a particular person, especially not this person who is not a good friend to you at all. A good friend would respect you and your boundaries, not selfishly continue to pursue her own desires.
Relationships change and grow over time. You and GF will either grow together or grow apart. Humans are going to enjoy positive attention. But how you respect the relationships in your life while receiving that attention, and how you react to it, will define those relationships. Having spent all my 20s, 30s, and now almost 40s with the same person in a monogamous relationship – there are MANY changes that happen, especially with intimate attraction.
Think about what you really want. And I cannot repeat it enough – that other person is not your friend.
Anyone can fake being nice for 2 months. Abusive and toxic people often seem too good to be true at first. That’s how they catch their victims.
One thing sticks out about how “perfect” things are is it’s all material, and you say you protest him buying you things but he does it anyway. That communicates to me that your wishes don’t actually matter to him. I would wonder what you owe him for it in the long term. My husband wouldn’t buy me something I specifically tell him not to because he respects my wishes. For example, he wanted my input on the wedding ring he got me because I am the one that would be wearing it and he wanted to get me a big flashy ring but I had something else in mind so he bought the one I wanted instead.
Under no circumstances would someone that respects you say such horrible things to you. Period. Especially over something so minor. I would have an incredibly hard time trusting someone after this.
At your age, you should never give up the opportunity to study and improve yourself. If you have the thinking that love conquers all, that your bf is your soul mate and you will never find someone better, then accept that you are still have maturing to do.
There are still many years before you finish your studies and so many ppl you will meet along the way. Social events to attend and trips to make with friends. A good education will open up doors to a great career and a better income. And like it or not, a good income helps in building a strong marriage later on. Too many marriages fail due to financial difficulties.
So prioritise a good education. You will be glad of the options you have later in life.
We beat ourselves something awful for not measuring up to porn stars and gorgeous women. We compare ourselves often. I believe you’re telling the truth about not comparing us, yet it’s so hard to imagine a man seeing sexy porn stars and not being disappointed when he looks back at his SO. Perhaps it’s instinctive for women to worry when their men might be lured away, and it’s nude to overcome instinct.
Yes, sometimes it's possible. And yes, men can have a hot time getting erections, even at 23.

This is the future generation?

And don’t forget the reveling in thinking he had no idea what the two of them were doing and thT he was focused on some other person.
