My husband told me a few years ago that it was very important for him to “pass on his genetics. We have been together for 10 years. Now we have been married for a year and he doesn't feel ready to be a father, but he feels the need to have a child. I feel that need too, but I agree that we are not ready yet (we both have student debt and he was unemployed until a couple months ago). A few days ago he told me that he had posted an ad on a forum (he didn't tell me which one) looking for women looking for donors. and a woman answered him and gave him her contact information to meet. He went to the appointment and made his donation (he says he didn't do it physically). But I feel angry and cheated. I have spent a week sleeping at a girlfriend's house and speaking very little with my husband. He wants us to fix it but I feel like he has turned off any chance of us having a child. I have nightmares of that hypothetical son coming to get him in the future. Should I try to get back my marriage or is a divorce the better way.
