hi guys. This is tmi but today I'm going to the doctor for a possible uti. I feel super bad ands it's been going on for a while. I've missed work and everything. I spoke with a doctor online and she recommended I go to urgent care. I tell my boyfriend her thoughts on a uti and I explain it could have been either of us and we just both should be more careful in how we take care of our hygiene after sex.
He told me he regrets having sex with me recently and that he's tired of me always feeling bad. He tried to play it off as concern for me but in reality I think he was just grossed out. Eventually after talking for a while he says it makes me want to take multiple showers. And so I asked do you feel gross and he said yeah. I asked again and he confirmed it. Earlier I tried explaining that it was common and that I take a lot of precautions to make sure I keep up with my hygiene but recently I hadn't prioritized peeing after sex immediately. I said this is normal for women and I will fix it. So I guess it hurts that after everything I said he still makes me feel like I'm just some gross unhygienic pig.
What do you think? Am I wrong to feel sad and upset about his reaction?
