Me (23F) and my boyfriend (24M) have been dating for over three years now. He lives with his family because it’s close to where he goes to school, which ended up making me very close to his family over the years. They pretty much adopted me as one of their own and I see them about 3 times a week.
I just recently found out he downloaded a dating app, hooked up and/or exchanges nudes with 8 girls over a period of a week and a half where he had a vacation from work and traveled to Florida with friends.
I really like the family and I think it would be awkward to just break up with him and say nothing them because I know they would ask questions and he would lie about it (likely even say I cheated on him).
At the same time, I don’t know if I should approach his mom or sisters about it. If so, what would be the best way of doing that?
I kind of want them all to know the reason why I’m leaving him but I know he would have me as the bad guy. I don’t want it to seem like I have no respect or appreciation for all the family has done for me over the years.
TLDR; my boyfriend cheated on me, I don’t know whether or not to mention it to his family since I’m close to them.
