Hello, came here today just because I am a little confused. My (23m) girlfriend (23f) and I haven't been together long. Only about 7 months of dating and and a few years since l've known her. She's very sweet and for the first time in a long time I felt like I can trust someone again. However she asked me to be her date at a wedding and I let her know I might be out of town and I'd need 2-3 days to let her know. The wedding is in late July and she needed an answered middle of June so I thought 2-3 days was fine. Then a few nights went by and her phone was being blown up by a guy named Kyle who she never talked about before. I brushed it off because I trusted her. Up until last night we were sleeping when I was woken up to Kyle calling my girlfriend at roughly 130 in the morning. My girlfriend stays up late most nights so I automatically think he was calling her not knowing she was sleeping with me. Then he sent a couple texts to her and when the phone lit up I peeped the message that said "my suit goes perfect with your dress for the wedding" I felt like shit and I did open the message and saw conversation of them being friendly/minor flirting and then there was the message that she sent him at end of may asking him to be her date. I know going through the message wasn't okay but after seeing what popped up on her phone I felt like I needed to confirm my suspicions and now 'm just left puzzled. I want to talk to her about it but what's the best way to approach a topic of discussion like this with her?
