I recall the case of a 15 year old girl who was the recipient of her mother's death bed confession that her dad was not her real dad. As the urging of a vocal minority of Redditors, she confided this information with her dad. His response: kick out the girl that wasn't his offspring, quit his job, sell the house and leave the state. At the age of 15, she lost her entire family. I think it's worth the small inconvenience placed on all of us to prevent situations like this from occuring at all.)
