my comment wasn't all serious IDIOT but my advice is worth taking.
She showed me the message that she sent to him saying that she thinks it's best if they don't chat anymore so I know she's definitely cut off that avenue of contact, plus I honestly got the sense that he wasn't as invested in things as she seemed to be.
Thankfully I think it came to a head before it went down a slippery slope.
Ask him for a specific date. If he says he’s busy then then ask him what day would be better. If he puts it off again he’s just not interested and you should stop asking and move on.
