I appreciate the re-frame and in reality I’m sure that’s pretty close to how it went. As I said also where in the Comments I do trust her and dont perceive him as a threat. I haven’t even directly told her to cut him off or cancel any plans with him. But I’m speaking for me, personally; if we’re in a committed relationship which she says she wants then I don’t like the idea of being drinking buddies with anyone she’s slept with before. She feels the same way about anyone I’ve been with in the past; but I don’t have anyone I’m still friends with. So it did not go both ways; and she admitted that.
