Okay, fair. It is your rule and should have been respected, especially if it was agreed to. Lying and getting angry about it, makes it that much worse.
I don't want to be too negative, but when I think back on my goals and interests at 20, they dont line up with my goals and interests at 35. There is just a vast amount of life experience between those ages. Im not saying it can't work, but the relationship structure needs to be addressed.
Can he treat you as an equal partner when you are just starting your life journey, career, or other plans? Do you have the same hobbies/interests? How will you handle finances if you move in together?
Lastly, please don't limit your life experiences by committing to someone at a much later point in life. Go out, meet people, learn about yourself, and then decide. Maybe keep it casual so you don't miss out on anything. You don't want to be in your 30s regretting choices because you didn't do thwm in your 20s.
