I don't think you have done anything wrong here, but I do feel you probably need to deal with the resentment you hold for your wife working from home. I say this because you reference this despite it baring no relevance to the story. My suggestion is they a part of you believes your wife isn't as tired as you because working from home is easier.
This is an understandable viewpoint, however having done a bit of both I wouldnt say working from home has me feeling any less tired or stressed. I do 2 days a week at home and 3 days with an 1hr30 each way drive and in all honesty the days from home wipe me more.
Not saying this is the case with everyone but I think before you deal with this argument you need to challenge this resentment before it grows.
