Honestly… you say she's not much of a looker, you're 12 years older than her and she has much more money than you and showers you with gifts. It sounds to me like she knows she's not a looker and may have sought you out because you are older and therefor, “thankful for her being younger” and she may feel like she has to give you stuff to keep you interested in her. In conclusion, it sounds like she's insecure and feels like she needs to buy your love. Just tell her that while you really appreciate her generosity, she doesn't have to buy anything for you for you to be interested because you like her for who she is as a person.
