2. In my opinion, why she was fucking them is largely immaterial at this point. The fact is she was in a relationship with you and was fucking other people, including your friends. What makes it even worse is her only excuse is that she didn't expect you to hang around anyway, “I only fucked around to defend myself against the fact that you were loyal and serious”. Talk about a self fulfilling prophecy.

   She felt guilty when you found out, how guilty was she when she was screwing around behind your back? Not so bad that she wasn't able to appear perfectly normal to you and relate to you like any other couple would. So not exactly riven with guilt then.

   Let's recap:

   She had been a friend of yours for a good while so knew the kind of person you were, and still uses the excuse that she didn't think you'd be loyal and committed.

   She betrays you WITH YOUR FRIENDS, who then all stay mum, so there's you, the mug, walking around with a woman who your friends know is cheating on you, and you are blithely ignorant of the fact.

   I can't entirely decipher from your story, but it seems she say an ex as well, while still dating you? So she not only cheated on you, she kept doing it repeatedly with people she had already finished a relationship with.

   So she has no loyalty, no morals, (I don't equate that with the sex work, I have no axe to grind with it and have partners who have been involved while in a relationship with me), she isn't honest, she has lied at least by omission if not directly, and would have kept it quiet if you hadn't already suspected and confronted her.

   I don't get what bit of her excuses you kind of believe? That she felt guilty? Not apparently enough to be honest.

   As for your so called friends, they are all scum and deserve no time from you. Anyone who can betray and abandon a friend like that is no friend.
