Not very well as of today. It’s someone I used to work with as a teen. I feel like the reason I still feel like this is because she would always talk to me everyday and was cool as hell. It really meant a lot to me cuz I was going through some rough shit at the time. And honestly moving on is really hard for me to do in all areas of my life.
What’s missing from your post is how you feel about all this. Do you like her? Do you like her husband? Do you want to escalate your contact with them? I think the answers to those questions are very pertinent.

I'm not surprised. Guitars aren't generally cheap and the proper sparkly ones going into the thousands. To make that big a gesture and essentially get “meh, sister is borrowing it” in response… it's vexxing.
Yah, I’m married to a brilliant man and he’s ridiculously entertaining and doesn’t party. He has never weaponized his intellect and he is deeply kind and everyone loves him, he’s the best.
