I agree with you that Michael being gay has zero to do with the situation at hand. And I would let this ex-fiance go. After all- he jumped to your cheating with no reason other than – what – his own insecurities? I wouldn't take him back. He doesn't trust you, and what kind of a relationship can you build with him if he doesn't? I expect that he's got a lot more going on than a lack of trust (though that's enough, honestly).

First of all brown eyes are absolutely lovely, and that’s a really weird thing for him to say. I’m not sure if there’s much to do besides ask your boyfriend if it matters to him whether someone has “ideal” features? Like yeah other eye colors are less common, but why does that matter?
