Yeah, I’m in the same boat and it’s definitely different. I remember a time when I was younger and I just HAD to text my boyfriend all day every day. Now my boyfriend works first shift and I work second shift, we both can’t text during work, and he’s asleep by the time I get out. So our texts are limited to the “good morning” and occasional “how’s your day” that I can get in during his lunch, otherwise we hardly speak during the week.
I honestly feel like it’s better that way though. We look forward more to the time we have together on the weekends and we have time to be separate people and do our own things.
