So she bases her personality on what other people sre doing.
I had a gf like that, super sweet and lovely person but she would gradually start, as you described it here ad well, to compare herself to other people. Former school mates, colleagues, influencers, friends whatever, shed come to me with new plans pretty much every other day and it almost always started with “i just saw XYZ doing ABC, wouldnt it be great to do that too?”.
Like your situation, she would grow frustrated when i told her that it wouldnt work. Over time this put a lot of strain on the relationship, and she would increasingly seek the company of enabling personalities. The relationship didnt last much longer.
Not saying that this is the inevitable outcome for your situation, just offering my own experience. Its a tough situation, no doubt.
