My (25F) boyfriend (27M) is upset because he wasn’t invited to come on our girls trip

My best friends and I that I have known since before kindergarten all online in different states for the most part. My friend (25M) lives in Florida so my friend (25F) and I are flying down from PA and our other friend (25M) is flying over all the way from California.

We’re staying for the weekend and we’re doing this because we rarely get to spend time or even see each other. My friend just broke up with her boyfriend and she mentioned using this trip to take her mind of things and to have fun with her friends.

The 2 male friends in this situation are very gay for anyone confused why it’s called a girls weekend (girls and the gays!)

I didn’t ask if he could come because “girls trip” was specifically mentioned. I don’t think it’s wrong of me to want to spend a weekend with friends. My bf is upset because he wasn’t invited to come. I told him this was specifically a girls trip and if anyone else had a SO they wouldn’t be coming either.

I guess what I want to get out of this is any advice on what to say to him to make him feel better? or are we being rude by not inviting him?

Edit: We’ve been together for over a year and he’s usually included in other activities we do. He has come to Florida in the past with me when we were visiting and my friend also brought her bf. He has met all my friends and have spent a lot of time with them except my friend from California who only comes home around Christmas. It’s a miracle he is even able to make it!

Edit: I also wanted to add that I have no desire to cheat on my boyfriend. I love him very much and we have very good sex. The best sex i’ve ever had. Also adding that my friends do not hook up with people especially when we have limited time together.

Edit again!!: There were 3 other girls invited that are part of our group of friends that aren’t able to make it. One is married and another has a boyfriend. Neither of their SO’s were invited. It’s not personal.

No, my friends are not actually bisexual. I’ve known them my whole life. They have no desire to have sex with women.
