My [29M] hinge match [29F] would have stood me upward had I not texted her beforehand. Now the lady wants a second chance.

TLDR: the title, fundamentally, with the additional information that the lady canceled with less than half an hour notice, only because I sent a two verification texts ahead of time.

I [29M] planned the coffee date with our hinge match [29F]. On the day of the date, the girl got weird, postponed the date 2 hours. I agreed. Then she didn' capital t answer when I sent the confirmation text an hour in advance, " are we nevertheless on for 4pm? "…. Thirty minutes before the date, We texted her again, something like, " I' m leaving now! Looking forward to seeing a person, but please let me know if you want to cancel/are not planning on arriving! " I sent this particular message because I had a feeling she wasn' t coming. However , I was giving the girl the benefit of the doubt because of the fact that she had expressed enthusiasm about meeting myself earlier in the week. Five minutes after my second textual content, she said ' I have to cancel, but would like to program something else soon. ' I was upset because I currently agreed to postpone the time by 2 hours today and am just spent the last half-hour getting ready, giving myself just a little pep talk in the looking glass, shaving, getting dressed, cleaned out up, etc . I saw her text just as I was getting in the car. Had she sent the text, a minute later, I' d have driven twenty minutes for no cause. I' m 100% certain she would have stood me up had I not really sent the _second_ verification text. I was annoyed, yet at least she mustered in the confidence to let me know rather than stand me up.

We let the situation sit for some time, then eventually I informed her I didn' t wish to reschedule. I was as polite as I could possibly be, while being 100% honest that I felt she was inconsiderate pertaining to canceling so late, which I' m convinced she would have stood me upward. She did own it plus apologize, which I accepted for certain. She explained how she was freaked out due to the fact I didn' t text her the day before, which I found confusing. From our perspective, she didn' t text me, as I delivered the last message on the day previous to that. She admitted to overthinking and I believe her explanation. Now, she is asking for a second chance and I' m not sure what the right decision is. I' mirielle a little intimidated by the idea that she read so much into a lack of text messages to the point that will she was going to stand myself up. I also really don' t even know when she' s right person for me anyway, so I' m just overwhelmed feeling like maybe it' s i9000 nicer to give a second possibility, but maybe it wouldn' t be worth the effort anyways. I feel like I spent a lot of emotional energy plus I' m not sure whether I owe her another chance, especially if I might end up expending more of my energy if it doesn' t move well. Wondering what independent perspectives think. Thoughts?
