I felt that way and still sometimes feel that way. But I currently am in a long term relationship and my partner is endlessly wonderful.
For a long time I just didn’t care about making space in my life for someone else, but luckily we keep things interesting.
Nothing is wrong with you. It’s fine to not want someone long term. You can have a series of short term relationships, and that’s ok. Or you can have hookups and that’s ok too. Don’t push yourself to share a life with someone if you don’t want. But I do recommend exploring that idea in therapy if possible, because sometimes it is good to have another perspective about the situation.
Yes I totally agree. I’ve even said those exact words and that if he doesn’t want that then it’s okay and there are plenty of other people who feel the same way. Unfortunately, I’m not one of them but that’s a good idea thanks.
