He sounds like an idiot, buying a motorcycle that he doesn't know how to ride, especially when he has a bunch of kids to support. He may turn out to not like riding, he may suck at it. (It's not easy to learn to ride and get good at it.) It's also risky. What happens if he gets seriously injured or disabled or even killed? And now, because he has a motorcycle instead of a car, he can't really drive a kid or 2 around while Mom takes the others. What a selfish prick! I've been riding for a decade, and am flabbergasted at his stupidity.
OP, this isn't a money thing. This is a “selfish prick” thing. Does he spend all this money and make decisions without you? You might benefit from seeing a marriage counselor together, but that won't fundamentally erase his selfishness. Put your foot down and be prepared to leave him if he keeps treating you like this.
