OP, I think your feelings are valid in being hurt. To not have your best friend beside you on your wedding day through no fault of yours must be extraordinarily painful. No, they don't have to bang the same other guy. If his kid with his wife isn't his, then the kids will not show as siblings. He would assume it's the first kid that isn't his, but in reality there would be potential for the kid with his wife not to be his, which introduces uncertainty in the results. Regardless of whether it's likely, it's possible. So he could never really be sure from this test which kid wasn't his.
