This might sound harsh, but you need to fix your thinking. You shouldn’t go into a relationship with a savior complex, and you should learn to appreciate yourself and your alone time. This is easier said than done. Get a dog or cat so you aren’t completely alone, but work on making your life one you enjoy even if you enjoy it solo. It helps in dating because the desperation gets cut back. You are able to be more picky because the alternative isn’t being alone. The alternative is you get to go back to whatever it was you were doing before.
