That’s a lot of assuming intention. You can’t boldly proclaim she didn’t put any thought and effort into it. You have no idea if she did sit there and stress over it and genuinely believe it was a good gift. They like to go on dates, so she may have thought a gift that comes up with unique or fun date ideas was a good gift. It’s NEVER good advice to speak for your partners mind set and/or intentions. He isn’t obligated to like it and if he wants to communicate that if he chooses then go for it but he needs to speak for himself not try and decide what she was thinking.
No it’s not a red flag that your bf doesn’t want you, someone who has no experience cutting hair, to not cut his hair. His hair is also curly which is a lot harder to cut (im a hairstylist). The red flag is more so you being so upset about it.
