Imagine you move to the US and your new closest friend is one of the people this walnut brained bigot despises. Imagine how he'll begin controlling your visitation with this person. He holds some awful views and I honestly couldn't even pretend to be nice to someone like that never mind date and love with them.
This is the dictionary definition of gaslighting. A lot of people misuse the term (to describe equally bad acts) but this is, unequivocally, gaslighting. He wants you to question yourself and start to believe that you did put it on his phone, and that you must be a horrible person for doing that.

Sorry. Saving sex for marriage sometimes is a risky thing to do. I dated a woman in college who's husband didn't want to have sex until marriage. She left him due to her disappointment in their sex life after a couple of weeks of marriage. It doesn't sound like you can do anything about your situation because she was never into you to begin with. Best to move on. Next time try before you buy.
i agree they should've talked about this beforehand, but she probably assumed he would listen about such a trivial thing for him to do. most people don't dress the same when they live alone vs when there are others there.
also some moms and daughters are extremely close and it isn't weird for them. especially if its just the two of them in the family which i'm assuming is the case here.
