Haha absolutely the furthest thing from a guy who wants to soup up his car and buy designer clothing, the work on his car was necessary for him to keep the car and be able to get back and forth to work. No. The way people treat you in respect to their money shows how they value you or treat you in general. There is no way this guy is a great boyfriend apart from this. The money is only symbolic. If I have $5 I will share with my partner and my partner would do the same. In fact he would rather starve than let me go hungry. If you can’t see this, then you have a lot more internal work to do. Relationships are not just companionship. Is this person actually enriching your life? Mentally, emotionally, logistically, financially ? Seems like he’s the only one benefitting. Or do you just want a partner at any cost?
