Update: Thank you everyone for your advise. Some comments were supportive, some were a little harsh but big eye opener.
I decided to tell Jason about the kiss. Yesterday after office, I asked him to come over for dinner. After dinner, I told him how I feel about him, how I feel about Ian, how I feel about the lies he spread, and then about the kiss. I asked him how he felt about the kiss but also made this very clear that from that point, there are only two ways I see us moving forward, i.e., either we end this completely so that we both can move forward in our life and find something meaningful with someone else or we give ourselves another chance and make it something meaningful.
He took a long pause and his amswer was he doesn't see any future with me. He is with me only because he enjoys my company and the 'no commitment' thing. About the kiss, he made it clear that he does care a bit that I kissed someone else but according to him, it is my life and he has no right to tell me what to do as we are not committed to each other.
NGL, at first his words broke me, subconsciously I wanted him to be mad at me kissing someone else like i would have been if i found out something like that. I also cried a little, but this gave me the clarity to see for myself what little last two years meant to him. No matter what I do, I'll always be just a close friend and nothing more like ever.
After all that i told him if that's how he feels then it is best to end it, so that it is easier for me and he sort of just agreed with it, got up, gave me a hug, and left. Just like that in minutes.
