I don’t know what is making you assume the things you are but you are truly running with them. I do appreciate you for taking the time to try and offer help but if you must know, I’m friends with the employees at the career center because of how much I go in there. Let me tell you, some people are just that unlucky. The reason for me not getting hired isn’t in my control. I know I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing. I have friends out of school longer than me that aren’t hired, I have friends younger than me that are. It takes time for everyone and being in tech at this time, looking for a job, if you keep up with the news then you know the hustle. This isn’t a career advice post, I’ve already made several of those for the appropriate subs.
My question is for help with keeping down, and perhaps getting rid of that envy you feel when things aren’t working out for you, but seem to be for someone close to you.
Have you never felt that before? Please tell me you have. If you haven’t I’m happy for you, but if you have please share how you deal/dealt with it.
Actually the silent treatment is a way to oppress and obtain power. It is highly narcissistic. If he truly cared about the relationship he would talk things through and compromise. He has low emotional intelligence and he is projecting that onto you by calling you manipulative.
