I had a female friend in college who's boyfriend approached her asking if she had been faithful. She replied of course. He then said 'Well it must have been the bathing suit then'. He then explained that he has contracted crabs and that he thinks it was because he borrowed someones bathing suit.
I asked her if he borrowed a dirty worn bathing suit and she said, oh it doesn't matter crabs survive the wash….
Even as a naive 19 year old I remember thinking… this doesn't seem like the most likely way for someone to catch crabs.
Maybe it’s regarding that?
