How is your grandad’s mental health? Does he still have his wits about him or is he maybe starting to lose his grip? 63 is not really that old but it’s definitely possible to start developing dementia at that age. There is a lot of ego and shame that comes with aging and it takes a lot of people a long time to come to terms with the fact that you (or your partner) are struggling to function. If your grandad is starting to forget those details, I wouldn’t be one bit surprised that your grandma is trying desperately to deflect blame and hope that no one notices her husband is losing it.
That’s not to excuse the lying, simply attempting to offer a possible reason why they lied. Maybe your grandad’s brain still works perfectly and he’s just careless. Regardless of why, it’s obviously not okay for your grandma to lie to you about your son’s health. If I were you I wouldn’t let your grandparents babysit. If you have zero other options, maybe you could have them come to your house and babysit there, where (I’m assuming) you don’t keep any oranges? Or maybe you could check their fridge and remove any orange stuff when your kid will be present. But if you can, don’t rely on them for childcare.

Ya, I did. I explained that I looked it up in a different comment, but just to reiterate, I showered the person that I thought was real with love and attention, but after about a couple weeks realized that she was a scammer. This was after I finally looked her up, and found that no one by her name existed where she said she was from, but the same site gave me an extensive family tree of myself that was mostly accurate. I know a couple weeks is a while for a scammer, but that is just how convincing “she” was.
How about don’t worry about finding someone else attractive right now. Leave and spend time getting your life together before you start looking again.
