If the last time she lived with him was when she was a minor, then it's considered rape/abuse/sexual assault, that's if it happened when she was still living with him as a child. I know the wording is implying as if she made the choice to do so, but you have to really take into context when/how this happened. However, you can't as you don't have any context, and that means you'll have to talk to her.

You'll just have to approach it gently and expressed that while you were looking for your document, you accidentally saw the book and curiosity took the best of you. Apologise and said you understand you were wrong about it and will accept it, but gently say you saw something about her dad and see how she reacts to it.
