It doesn't sound like you two ever actually spend any time alone. That's probably part of the problem. But if you don't like his diet or his taste in music one has to wonder what else it is you two might not like about one another. Relationships can't be based on just mutual physical attraction. You actually need to have real commonalities on some pretty important things to make it work. Maybe if you spent more time with just the two of you having real conversations you could either sort some of this out (or possibly realize you're just not a good match). But you'll never know until you're alone together without all this interference from friends and roommates.
