What about this girl?
He liked a girl whom he initially wanted to hook up with only but she didnt have sex with him. He was passive aggressive at first but later on he actually developed some kind of feelings.
He wouldnt tell her his feelings nor was making efforts to be in a relationship with her. In front of her, he acted like he doesn't care but I knew that he was emotionally attached to her and was extremely attracted to her.
Many times I had seen him literally stop and stare at her when she would be walking by and always checking her out from head to toe.
He gets around quite a bit and is frequently meeting different girls, either female friends or girls he wants to hook up with.
However, he played a lot of mind games with her and disrespected her which made her angry. She called him out for his behaviour but ended up telling him that she liked him.
He went against his feelings and pretended like he didn't like her , doesn't not want a relationship, and how he never saw her as anything.
She ultimately decided not to progress this anymore and when she told him that she no longer wishes to keep contact, he was broken. He became very dejected and upset and tried to keep greeting her. The girl responded to his greetings but she was cold.
Seeing her coldness, he deleted her number and archived their chats as he said it hurt seeing her name, picture. However, even after deleting her, he still greeted her and the girl eventually spoke to him, wanting to patch up things as she cared for him and did not want to stay on bad terms with him. He told her he wants to move on as he feels stagnated but when she asked him that when he doesn't like her then what does he want to move on from, he kept silent.
He was reluctant but agreed with her and they were on normal terms. He went to talk to her and they spoke normally but he was still unhappy and still wanted to move on.
I dont understand. Why is he trying to move on when she told him she liked him and he had feelings?

Here’s a good thing to keep in mind when dating: people are on their best behaviour early in. And early in means AT LEAST a year. If you’re seeing red flags during that time, you’re just seeing the tip of the iceberg. There are plenty of men out there you will enjoy dating that won’t make you feel like asking Reddit strangers what to do. Make a habit now of leaving the former for the latter.
