1. Have you thought about dumping him? Getting your own place.

   Move forward in life and let him on-line in his mold filled mobil home.

   The guy is not ready for a relationship nor is he ready to wake up.

   Marriage is off the table.. Living in a clean safe mold free solid floor great electrical..is off the table.

   Start looking for a place…move out tell him it was interesting.

   You can do so much better.

2. Tell K about your concern that this is a set up.

   Both of you create an exit plan in case it is.

   K may also be able to snoop and see what it is all about.

   His mother is really going nuts. Either she is trying to sabotage the relationship so that her son will be single so that she will never be alone (or mary the woman SHE chooses) and her son will be with her, or, whatever is going honest so far beyond our pay grade here that it requires special intensive therapy.

   I think that both of you will probably end up figuring out a living situation where he no longer lives with his mother. Possibly both of you living together in your own place?

   I hope that your boyfriend can stay strong and to be there for his brother, D, because she will do the same thing to him and his romantic interests.

3. Apologize (don't grovel) for the mistake.

   There's a reason why people often call the dog by their children's name or one child by another child's name. It has nothing to do with not being over someone or respect.

   There is a ton of research, but it boils down to how the brain memorizes and categorizes names and information.

   In all likelihood, your semi-conscious mind associated the specific situation with previous instances of similar situations and responded accordingly.

   It is perfectly normal mistake. Don't let yourself be punished and made into some sort of criminal over it.
