I can understand but wanting to have you join guy time, it might not even be about you. They may have a girl in the group that always wants to come, they may use the time to talk about really personal things. Or they may just be sexist idiots.
However, if your bf knows you like fishing and won't even go just the two of you on your own trip then he has a problem with women doing “guy stuff” and he doesn't sound that great.

I agree she seems to have no respect for me being her mother in law. It's very disappointing. I'm astounded by all the people who don't feel that grandparents are needed in children's lives and that I'm simply owed nothing. Without me that child would not be here and I don't think she realizes it. I wish my son had handled a lot of this differently. It feels like people believe children can be used as pawns when you don't agree with the grandparents.
If you don't do your hobbies, then there's more time and money to do hers. Creating a detriment to your life is the plan to make more joy in hers.

Tell her it’s unacceptable for her to abandon the cat for days at a time and you won’t participate in its care anymore, for any reason. This is how you set a boundary.
