1. It didn’t have to do with maturity in the slightest. I’ve always been pretty mature and self controlled. He was as well. I’m a very simple person to be honest. It doesn’t seem like you paid attention to what i actually stated. You just want to push that dating younger is okay so you can feel better bc you yourself did it.

   It was most definitely the age gap. You’ll never have much experience in life as someone older than you simply bc they are older. That’s not a bad thing. But it still makes things different.

   I have nothing left to say. You can keep convincing yourself you’re fine in dating someone fresh out of high school like you did while in your 20s. And you will continue to do so I know that much. Because people don’t like feeling as though they did something not great.

   Everything I said in regards to age is valid. You just don’t care. Clearly

2. I really enjoyed some time away from my partner but that was after years together. At 4 months we were glued to each other. Sounds like this guy has issues. Don't waste your breath.
